UniSat and Utexo move to add USDT to Bitcoin ecosystem asset management

UniSat said it is working with Utexo to integrate USDT into UniSat Wallet and UniScan through the RGB protocol. The plan would let users manage and transfer USDT alongside BTC, Ordinals, Runes and other assets within the Bitcoin ecosystem. After wallet and browser support is completed, UniSat said it plans to open trading between Bitcoin-native assets and USDT on UniHexa. Utexo, described as Tether’s direct partner for Bitcoin USDT infrastructure, will help verify officially issued USDT assets. The rollout is set to proceed in stages, beginning with institutional liquidity and exchanges before expanding to retail users.
