Robinhood Chain DEX volume hits a record as Pons says it paid creators $20.93 million in 47 days

Crypto markets on Aug. 31 were led by a cluster of stories around Robinhood Chain activity, tokenized stock trading, and U.S. crypto legislation. Robinhood Chain posted $945 million in single-day DEX volume on Aug. 29, setting a new all-time high and moving above its previous peak from mid-July. Token Terminal said the seven most actively traded tokenized stocks all sit on either BNB Chain or Robinhood Chain, generating a combined $4.3 billion in DEX volume over the past 30 days. Pons, a token launch platform active on Robinhood Chain, said it has paid $20.93 million to token creators over the past 47 days, while Dune data showed 23,080 tokens were deployed on Robinhood Chain on Aug. 29, with Pons V2 accounting for 15,957 of them, or about 69.1%. The broader news flow also included a planned Sept. 15 procedural vote in the U.S. Senate on the CLARITY Act, new governance and infrastructure updates from Hyperliquid, Solana and Deribit, multiple security incidents across Cosmos-linked and other networks, and a series of market comments from figures including Tom Lee, Ki Young Ju, Ansem and Bonk Guy. In spot trading, UNI was the only gainer among the listed top-10 CEX turnover tokens, up 11.2%, while ZORA led the OKX 24-hour gainers with a 33.52% rise.

Tracked whale cuts HYPE longs to near zero and builds a $24.5 million NVDA position

A whale account tracked by TradingBeats, formerly Hyperinsight, has largely exited its long exposure to HYPE and shifted its main risk back to U.S. equities. The account’s HYPE perpetual long position fell from about 152,800 tokens to 11.82 tokens, while its spot balance dropped to roughly 374.9 HYPE. Its primary position is now a 20x full-margin long in about 112,800 NVDA contracts valued at around $24.495 million, opened two days earlier at an average entry price of $220.08. With NVDA quoted at about $217.15, the position was showing an unrealized loss of about $330,000 and a return of roughly -26.6%. The same whale has also placed 169 sell orders around NVDA, including 40 reduce-only orders between $221.7 and $222.5 and 129 non-reduce-only sell orders between $218.95 and $228.33. TradingBeats said that if those non-reduce-only orders are fully filled, the whale could move from closing the remaining NVDA long to building a short position. The account is currently the largest NVDA holder on Hyperliquid, according to the monitoring update.

WuBlockchain repost says Binance may chase after-hours stock pricing power with Perps, while bStocks serve as inventory and correction rails

A reposted WuBlockchain article argues that Binance’s stock-product strategy is not about building a better Nasdaq. The thesis is narrower and more structural: if the exchange wants influence over post-close stock pricing, the front line is perpetual futures, not tokenized spot stocks. In this framework, Perps absorb directional views, leverage and rapid trading during market closures, while bStocks act as the inventory layer that can be held, transferred, converted, posted as collateral and used for hedging. The article compares weekend and reopening data for NVDA, TSLA, SNDK, SPCX and SKHY-related contracts, and repeatedly returns to one point: heavy trading alone does not prove price discovery. In a 25-sample set covering U.S. market close-to-reopen windows, Sunday direction matched the next cash open only 13 times, or 52%. SNDK and SPCX posted large weekend turnover and high fill rates, yet those figures, the author says, likely reflect market making, arbitrage and systematic flow as much as independent investor conviction. The piece also argues that bStocks should not be judged mainly by ticker count, AUM or headline volume. Their strategic role lies in inventory, borrowing, conversion and balance-sheet mobility. Perps can produce a candidate price, but bStocks are meant to turn that price into an asset that can be financed, transported, hedged and, if wrong, arbitraged back into line.

Nvidia Tokenized Stock Tops Robinhood Chain With 74,000 Holders

Nvidia's tokenized stock, trading under the ticker NVDArh, has drawn roughly 74,000 holders on Robinhood Chain and emerged as the platform's most popular tokenized asset, according to Techub News, citing CryptoBriefing. On-chain data shows the token holds about $2.4 million in DeFi deposits, an indication that holders are actively using it in lending and liquidity protocols. Robinhood Chain is a Layer-2 network built on Arbitrum technology, designed to let users trade U.S. stocks and ETFs as ERC-20 tokens. Real-world asset activity on the chain climbed nearly fivefold in July, lifting its total market cap to about $70 million. SpaceX and Apple round out the top three, ranking second and third respectively. The figures offer a snapshot of how tokenized equities are gaining traction inside crypto-native trading venues, with retail-focused platforms increasingly turning to blockchain-based access to traditional assets.

Microduck token draws fomo-heavy holders as top address posts over $370,000 in unrealized profit

Pollen Robotics, the open-source robotics company under Hugging Face, launched its $399 Microduck product on Aug. 27, and the release quickly gained traction online, with orders surpassing $1 million in a short period. Around the same time, reports surfaced that Nvidia had agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9 billion. Crypto traders then created a same-name Stock Meme token tied to an Nvidia stock token pair. The token first appeared across several chains, including BSC, Base, SOL and Robinhood, before the Robinhood-chain version emerged as the standout. GMGN data cited by BlockBeats showed that, by press time, the token had reached a $16 million market cap within three days of launch, with $8.9 million in 24-hour trading volume. Holdings data on GMGN showed that many of the leading wallet addresses came from the fomo platform. According to fomo platform data, the top profit-making address had more than $370,000 in unrealized gains after buying $15,800 worth of tokens at a $610,000 market cap, selling nearly $7,000 around a $3.7 million market cap, and continuing to add slightly afterward. BlockBeats said the token’s concentrated holder structure makes sharp moves in either direction a realistic risk.

Nvidia earnings shift investor focus to Rubin ramp, margin pressure and the durability of AI demand

Nvidia’s fiscal 2027 second-quarter results delivered another massive growth quarter, but the post-earnings debate quickly moved beyond whether the company beat expectations. Revenue reached $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year, while data center revenue climbed 117% to $89 billion. Management also said Vera Rubin has entered full production, placing the next platform transition at the center of the market’s attention. Investors are now weighing a different set of questions. Can Rubin extend the growth cycle established by Blackwell? Can Nvidia hold onto unusually high profitability as memory and broader system costs rise? And how should the market treat China when Nvidia’s fiscal third-quarter revenue outlook of about $108 billion, plus or minus 2%, excludes China data center compute revenue? Margins have become a closely watched signal. Non-GAAP gross margin was 75.0% in the second quarter, and Nvidia expects roughly 74.0% in the third quarter, plus or minus 50 basis points. Reuters also reported that higher memory and component costs could push gross margin to about 71%–72% in the fourth quarter. For chip investors, the report also carries read-through for AI servers, HBM, networking, optical interconnects, advanced packaging, and broader data center infrastructure.
