Anthropic files for IPO as Meta lines up stock sales worth up to $95 billion
WuBlockchain’s WhiteLine Daily highlighted four major AI infrastructure financing and contract developments involving Anthropic, Meta, AWS, Verizon and SpaceX. Anthropic said it had filed IPO registration documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. Its filing showed first-half 2026 revenue of $16.29 billion, up from $1.16 billion a year earlier, while operating loss narrowed to about $693 million. Reuters also summarized more than $600 billion in long-term compute-related spending commitments tied to partners over the next decade. Meta, meanwhile, launched a roughly $35 billion public stock offering and said it may later pursue an additional $60 billion at-the-market share sale after its non-voting Class C shares begin trading, bringing potential fundraising to about $95 billion. Reuters reported that Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom had indicated interest in buying up to $5 billion of Class A shares, though those indications are not binding. Separately, Verizon signed an AI infrastructure agreement worth more than $2 billion with AWS, and SpaceX secured about $40 billion in binding commitments for GPU and related equipment lease financing through Apollo-managed entities. WhiteLine Daily said the deals show outside capital is still available for large-scale AI buildouts, but whether future revenue can cover long-term payment obligations remains the key issue.
