Como coach Cesc Fabregas spoke to the club’s official channels before Tuesday’s Serie A trip to the Olimpico Grande Torino and said his side must stay focused for the full 90 minutes against Torino. Moise Kean and Mattia Liberali were both missing from the squad ahead of the match.
Fabregas sets out the task
Fabregas said: "Tomorrow against Torino will be a very important game, our fourth in the space of 10 days. We’ll face a team that has won three in a row and will have plenty of enthusiasm."
Fabregas said: "We’ll need to stay focused for all 90 minutes and manage every phase of the game as well as possible. I’ve seen the lads really switched on in these two days since the Sassuolo win, and we have to carry on like that."
Squad absences and returns
Kean and Liberali were both missing from the squad, and Fabregas had been unable to recover either player in time. Jesús Rodríguez, Trevoh Chalobah and Assane Diao also remain unavailable.
Youngster Papaccioli has been called up from the Primavera, while Nico Paz returns to contention after starting on the bench against Sassuolo.
Recent results before Tuesday
Como beat Sassuolo 2-0 on Saturday, with Tasos Douvikas scoring both goals, and that result took the team to 17 points.
Torino have won their last three league games against Udinese, Parma and Monza, moving on to 13 points.
