Juventus still have a doubt over Weston McKennie before their Europa League game away to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday. McKennie remains in doubt because of muscle fatigue, and Luciano Spalletti will decide his availability on Wednesday 4 November.
McKennie fitness concern
McKennie was substituted at half-time in Juventus’ 2-0 win over Napoli on Sunday. Exams only showed muscle fatigue.
Assessment on 4 November
The team will return to Continassa on Wednesday, 4 November, when McKennie will be assessed. It remains to be seen whether Spalletti will take McKennie to the Netherlands or leave him in Turin to rest ahead of the next Serie A match against Fiorentina on Sunday.
Squad availability
Sky Sport Italia reported that Juventus were not training on Tuesday 3 November after Spalletti had given his players a day off. Juventus are already dealing with a severe injury crisis, with Kenan Yildiz, Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram, Francisco Conceiçao and Nico Gonzalez unavailable.
Europa League start
Juventus have earned seven points in the opening three Europa League games of the season.
