Football Italia reported that La Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan have reached a record kit agreement with Adidas worth €50m per year from 2028. Milan will change kit suppliers in the 2028-29 campaign, with Adidas replacing Puma.
Value and length of the agreement
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan have reached a €50m-a-year agreement with Adidas. According to Gazzetta, the contract runs from 2028 to 2038 and will bring Milan €500m over its term.
Supplier change in 2028
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Adidas will design Milan's shirt for 10 years starting in 2028. The switch from Puma to Adidas will take effect in the 2028-29 campaign.
Comparison with other deals
The original deal with Puma, signed 10 years ago, was worth €14m per season and then rose to €30m a year from 2022. Gazzetta notes that Milan's agreement with Adidas will become Serie A's most lucrative kit sponsorship. Last year, Juventus signed a €408m deal with Adidas for the next 10 years, while Inter's deal with Nike is worth €30m per season over eight years and was signed in 2023.
