The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange has introduced ADX Managed Services (AMS), a new infrastructure suite that moves the bourse beyond its traditional role as a trading venue. Built around APIs, the framework combines account funding, trade execution, and portfolio management in a single workflow. International Securities became the first brokerage to adopt the service after signing a rollout agreement during the Make it in the Emirates forum in Abu Dhabi.

First service links brokerage funding to central bank payment rails

The first AMS module is called Certified Cash Transfer. ADX said it enables investors to fund trading accounts instantly through broker apps by connecting directly to the UAE Central Bank payment infrastructure. That addresses a common bottleneck in retail investing: delays between moving cash and placing trades. If funding happens instantly, the path from a bank account to market execution becomes much shorter.

Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX Group, said the new platform changes how investors access ADX markets by bringing payments, trading, investment, and portfolio management into one integrated ecosystem. In his description, the goal is to remove barriers and let investors act in real time with greater speed and confidence.

ADX is pushing deeper into exchange technology services

The launch is being framed as more than a product release. ADX is positioning AMS as part of a broader capital markets infrastructure layer, in line with a global shift in which exchanges expand beyond listing and matching into settlement tools, data services, operational workflows, and embedded finance capabilities.

Historically, payments, custody, brokerage operations, and execution have often sat in separate systems. That fragmented setup means investors pass through several operational steps before capital is available for trading. AMS is designed to compress those steps into one process. For brokers, fintech firms, and banks, API-based access also makes it possible to embed exchange-connected services directly inside their own platforms instead of sending users across disconnected channels.

More services are already in development

ADX also said additional AMS products are under development, including a Systematic Savings Plan for automated investing and an IBAN Validation Service focused on transaction verification and operational security. The first points to growing demand for recurring investment models in retail markets, while the second targets payment accuracy and control.

According to the exchange, ADX now serves more than 1.2 million investors across over 200 nationalities. As the UAE continues to modernize its financial infrastructure, integrated API-based services are becoming part of the pitch to both retail and institutional investors. Ayman Hamed, Chief Executive Officer of International Securities, said the partnership gives clients a faster and more efficient way to access the market by combining funding, trading, and portfolio management into one journey.
