Aligned details Genesis Drop, allocates 8.74% of ALIGN supply to airdrop

Aligned, a ZK verification layer project, has released the details of its Genesis Drop. The airdrop sets aside 8.74% of the fixed 10 billion ALIGN supply for communities that support crypto, Ethereum, and ZK. At the token generation event, 44.36% of the airdrop allocation will unlock, equal to about 3.88% of total supply. The distribution is split into three parts: Airdrop 1 for the broader community at about 6.54% of supply, Airdrop 2 for notable contributors at 2.10%, and ZK Arcade at 0.10%. Claim rules also differ by allocation size. Users assigned 10,000 ALIGN or less will claim on Base, while those allocated more than 10,000 ALIGN will claim on Ethereum Layer 1. How the airdrop is split

The Genesis Drop has three parts.

Airdrop 1 is the community allocation, accounting for about 6.54% of total supply. Recipients allocated 10,000 ALIGN or less will have their tokens fully unlocked at TGE. Recipients allocated more than 10,000 ALIGN will have 10,000 tokens unlocked at TGE, with the remainder released linearly over 12 months.
Airdrop 2 is for notable contributors and accounts for 2.10% of total supply. The group includes Protocol Guild, L2BEAT, ZachXBT, and ZK Podcast. Only 2.08% of this portion will unlock at TGE, with the rest vesting linearly over 47 months.
ZK Arcade accounts for 0.10% of total supply and will be fully unlocked at TGE.

Claim rules

Users allocated 10,000 ALIGN or less will claim on Base. Users allocated more than 10,000 ALIGN will claim on Ethereum L1.
