Trading around Anthropic-linked meme tokens heated up again on the Robinhood chain on Sept. 12, with FRONTIER and ANTHROPIG both briefly pushing past a $10 million market cap, according to BlockBeats.
FRONTIER, a meme token using a tokenized 1x Anthropic contract as its base pool, reached a $10 million market cap within 30 minutes of listing. It later pulled back to $7.04 million.
ANTHROPIG, which launched earlier in the morning, also rose above $10 million before falling back. It was last reported at $9.15 million, up 78% over the past hour.
FRONTIER draws from Dario Amodei’s latest essay
BlockBeats said FRONTIER was inspired by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s latest article, We Must Pace the Frontier. In that piece, Amodei explains why the AI industry should slow down and lays out a three-part plan for doing so.
Both tokens trade against ANTHROPICx1L on Long.xyz
ANTHROPIG and FRONTIER are both paired on Long.xyz with ANTHROPICx1L. BlockBeats described ANTHROPICx1L as a tokenized 1x long Anthropic position provided by Lighter. Liquidity for the token is currently supplied mainly by Long.xyz.
Long.xyz’s stock-linked meme structure
Long.xyz is a meme token issuance platform on the Robinhood chain focused on what BlockBeats called a “stock-meme” model. The setup directly links traditional meme tokens with tokenized U.S. equities, combining speculative trading sentiment with an underlying real-asset reference.
On the platform, users can issue meme tokens and pair them directly with on-chain stock tokens rather than with conventional quote assets such as USDT or ETH. BlockBeats listed NVDA, TSLA, and AAPL as examples of the stock tokens used in these pairings.
Part of the trading fees is routed back to a community treasury to accumulate the corresponding stock tokens, a mechanism the report described as a distinct value-capture model.
On-chain route for Anthropic exposure before any public listing
BlockBeats said expectations for an Anthropic IPO remain high, but because the company is not listed in traditional markets, investors cannot directly take a long position there. In that context, this combination of tokenized long exposure and meme-token pairing offers a speculative on-chain route to trade around the theme.
The report described the structure as an upgraded version of earlier meme pairings built around stock tokens such as NVDA.
BlockBeats also warned that the tokens are highly volatile and carry substantial uncertainty, and said users should be cautious with investment decisions.
