ANTHROPIG, a new meme coin in the Robinhood ecosystem, briefly saw its market capitalization rise above $4 million before retreating to $2.92 million, according to GMGN market data cited by BlockBeats on Sept. 12.
The token’s core narrative is an "Anthropic pig" meme, or a pig-themed take on Anthropic. BlockBeats said the move is directly tied to market attention around Long.xyz and its support, either upcoming or already live, for ANTHROPICx1L. That product represents a tokenized 1x long position linked to Anthropic, and ANTHROPIG is traded against ANTHROPICx1L on the Long.xyz platform.
How Long.xyz structures the trade
Long.xyz is a meme coin launch platform on the Robinhood chain. Its focus is a "stock-meme" format that ties traditional meme tokens directly to tokenized U.S. equities, combining speculative meme trading with what the report described as real-asset anchoring.
Rather than using standard quote assets such as USDT or ETH, the platform allows users to issue meme tokens and form trading pairs directly against on-chain stock tokens. Examples cited in the report include NVDA, TSLA and AAPL. BlockBeats also said part of the trading fees flows back to a community treasury, where the corresponding stock tokens are accumulated as part of the platform’s value-capture design.
Why Anthropic became part of the meme trade
According to BlockBeats, expectations for an Anthropic IPO are currently high, but the company is not listed in traditional markets, which means traders cannot directly take a long position there. On-chain, tokenized long exposure combined with a meme-token pairing creates a speculative route tied to that theme. The report described it as an upgraded version of earlier meme pair trades built around stock tokens such as NVDA.
BlockBeats warned that tokens tied to this setup can see sharp price swings and carry substantial uncertainty, urging users to remain cautious.
