Circle-backed public chain Arc went live at around 9 a.m. UTC+8 on Sept. 16, with cross-chain transfers already open, according to GMGN data cited by BlockBeats. In the first hour after launch, several early speculative names stood out on-chain: ARGUS, the token tied to the ArgusPad issuance platform, led the group with a $14.1 million market cap and a $540,000 liquidity pool. LONG, linked to the long issuance platform, was valued at $7.76 million with $324,000 in liquidity, while TOLLY reached a $5.25 million market cap and a $275,000 liquidity pool. COOL, described as an early community meme token under the name “usdc is cool,” posted a $6 million market cap and $360,000 in liquidity. BlockBeats also noted that LONG had previously become controversial after trader Bonk Guy promoted it, with multiple community users questioning the project’s security and citing concerns including high token concentration. The outlet warned that Arc has only just launched, most tokens on the chain have trading volume below $1 million, concentration levels remain unclear, liquidity is thin, and price swings could be severe.

Circle-backed public chain Arc officially launched its mainnet at around 9 a.m. UTC+8 on Sept. 16 and has already opened cross-chain functionality.

According to GMGN data cited by BlockBeats, the main early speculative tokens on Arc roughly one hour after launch were as follows:

  • ARGUS: the platform token issued by ArgusPad, with a current market capitalization of $14.1 million and a liquidity pool of $540,000;
  • LONG: the platform token issued by long, with a current market capitalization of $7.76 million and a liquidity pool of $324,000;
  • TOLLY: the platform token issued by Tolly, with a current market capitalization of $5.25 million and a liquidity pool of $275,000;
  • COOL (usdc is cool): an early community meme token, with a current market capitalization of $6 million and a liquidity pool of $360,000.

LONG had previously drawn controversy after well-known trader Bonk Guy promoted the token. Multiple community users questioned whether the protocol had several major security risks, including what they described as overly high token concentration.

BlockBeats said Arc had only just gone live and that early speculation on the network carries elevated risk. Most tokens have trading volume below $1 million, concentration levels are still unclear, liquidity is low, and prices may swing sharply.
