The U.S. spot crypto ETF market displayed a clear divergence as the shortened trading week ahead of Easter came to a close. While Bitcoin-denominated funds broke a two-day outflow streak with modest net inflows, their Ether counterparts continued to see significant capital exodus.
Bitcoin ETFs Back in Positive Territory
According to data published Thursday, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of approximately $8.99 million, enough to turn the week's cumulative flow positive. The gains were led by Fidelity's FBTC, which brought in $7.29 million, and VanEck's HODL, which added $4.74 million. BlackRock's IBIT, however, saw a $3.04 million outflow, but the overall balance remained favorable. Total trading volume for Bitcoin ETFs reached $1.97 billion, with net assets standing at $86.22 billion.
Ether ETFs Suffer Heavy Outflows
The picture for Ether ETFs was far gloomier. The category posted a staggering net outflow of $71.10 million, extending its recent stretch of weakness. BlackRock's ETHA led the decline with a $46.66 million withdrawal, followed by Grayscale's ETHE at $16.80 million and Fidelity's FETH at $7.70 million. Not a single Ether ETF reported any inflow. Trading volume amounted to $970.16 million, and net assets closed at $11.70 billion.
Minor Inflows for XRP and Solana ETFs
Among smaller crypto assets, XRP ETFs recorded a modest net inflow of $64,600. The movement came from a $1.31 million addition to Bitwise's XRP fund, partially offset by a $1.25 million outflow from Canary's XRPC. Total XRP ETF trading volume stood at $14.02 million, with net assets of $916.73 million.
Solana ETFs also saw a slight uptick, with a net inflow of $932,800, all of which came from Fidelity's FSOL. Trading activity reached $36.83 million, while net assets settled at $771.36 million.
In summary, the shortened trading week ended with mixed signals: Bitcoin ETFs showed renewed investor appetite, Ether ETFs continued to bleed, and smaller assets like XRP and Solana attracted modest inflows. The market now enters a holiday pause, still searching for a clearer directional catalyst.
