Bitcoin’s recent climb toward the $80,000 level has not been a quiet move, according to a post from CryptoQuant on X. The analytics firm said the advance has been accompanied by a marked pickup in market activity, with spot trading volume running about 3 to 4 times higher than before. Among exchanges, Binance accounted for the largest share of that activity.
CryptoQuant also pointed to continued whale inflows during the rally. It said hourly inflows repeatedly exceeded 2,000 BTC, while the average size of individual deposits rose to more than 50 BTC. At the same time, altcoin deposits to exchanges increased by about threefold.
Taken together, the figures show that participation across the crypto market has been broadening again as Bitcoin approaches the $80,000 threshold.
