BTCC said its total trading volume for 2025 reached $3.7 trillion, while its global user base climbed to 11 million, up 60% year over year. With its 15th anniversary approaching in 2026, the exchange said its next phase will center on AI-enabled trading tools and a broader lineup of real-world asset (RWA) products.
Futures led activity as spot and tokenized assets also expanded
According to the figures released by the exchange, BTCC posted $3.27 trillion in futures volume for the full year and $431 billion in spot volume. Its tokenized real-world asset business grew sharply during the year, with quarterly trading volume rising from $1.2 billion in Q1 to $22.7 billion in Q4. Total tokenized futures volume for 2025 came in at $53.1 billion.
The company said tokenized asset trading volume increased 18-fold in 2025. For 2026, it plans to widen its RWA product suite by adding more asset classes and new trading pairs.
Monthly Proof of Reserves stayed above 100%
BTCC said it continued publishing monthly Proof of Reserves reports throughout 2025, with reserves consistently above 100%. On the product side, the exchange rolled out a site-wide UI refresh, updated its VIP program, and added TradingView integration for futures trading.
Its roadmap for the coming year includes integrating AI into risk management and trade execution optimization tools aimed at both professional traders and mainstream users. BTCC also said it is preparing a broader trading system covering derivatives, spot markets, and multi-asset matching engines, along with a new wealth management feature built around diversified strategies for different risk profiles.
Global events and brand partnerships widened exposure
During 2025, BTCC took part in TOKEN2049 events in Dubai and Singapore, hosted a Summer Festival in Tokyo, and organized an MVP Night during Taipei Blockchain Week. The exchange also sponsored charity golf events run by the Red Eagle Foundation, which raised more than $100,000 over the year.
On the branding side, BTCC partnered with NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. as its first global brand ambassador. The exchange said the collaboration connects sports and crypto communities while highlighting Jackson’s profile as an athlete, music producer, and crypto trader. BTCC also received BeInCrypto’s Best Centralized Exchange (Community Choice) award.
BTCC says 2026 focus is speed built on operating history
Marcus Chen, Product Manager at BTCC, said: “15 years in this industry has taught us that the real risk isn’t change but standing still. Our focus for 2026 is translating operational experience into speed: building what traders need for where markets are heading, not where they’ve been.”
Founded in 2011, BTCC said it now serves users in more than 100 countries and has a user base of over 11 million.
