CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said whales are sending larger amounts of stablecoins to Binance, a shift that may point to renewed capital positioning in the market. Data cited by the analyst shows that the 30-day cumulative inflow from whale addresses making individual stablecoin transfers above $1 million climbed from $21.7 billion to $30.5 billion, up more than 40% from a little over a month ago. Darkfost said stablecoin inflows to exchanges are often seen as funds preparing for market deployment, which could be linked to potential buying pressure. The data also shows that whale stablecoin inflows previously topped $61 billion at an October peak before entering a prolonged decline. More recently, as Bitcoin’s structural trend has started to change, whale behavior has begun to shift as well, though the stance remains cautious. According to Darkfost, current whale capital deployment is being shaped by several factors, including expectations for an "October rally" as well as macro pressures such as conflict, inflation, and persistently rising bond yields.

On Oct. 2, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said whales with large pools of capital are increasing the amount of stablecoins they send to Binance.

According to the data cited by Darkfost, the 30-day cumulative inflow from whale addresses making individual stablecoin transfers of more than $1 million rose from $21.7 billion to $30.5 billion, an increase of more than 40% from a little over a month ago.

Darkfost said stablecoin inflows to trading platforms are usually read as a sign that funds are getting ready to be deployed in the market. On that basis, the recent increase in whale stablecoin inflows could be tied to potential buying pressure.

The data also shows that whale stablecoin inflows previously exceeded $61 billion at an October peak, before falling back over an extended period.

More recently, as Bitcoin’s structural trend has changed, whale capital behavior has started to shift, although the overall posture remains cautious. Darkfost said current whale positioning is being influenced by several factors, including expectations around an "October rally" and broader macro conditions such as conflict, inflation pressure, and continued increases in bond yields.
