On-chain analyst Darkfost said whale-sized stablecoin transfers into Binance have picked up in recent weeks, pointing to a clear increase in large deposits from major holders. In a post on X, he said inflows involving transfers of more than $1 million in stablecoins per transaction have risen noticeably. Using a rolling 30-day cumulative measure, the total amount sent by this group to Binance increased from $21.7 billion to $30.5 billion over a little more than a month, a gain of more than 40%. Darkfost said stablecoin inflows to exchanges often suggest capital is being positioned for market entry, meaning the change could reflect potential buying pressure. Even so, he added that whale deployment still looks restrained when compared with last October, when the same inflow figure briefly topped $61 billion. The comparison suggests activity has strengthened, but remains below the levels seen during that earlier peak.

30-day cumulative inflows rose to $30.5 billion

Using a 30-day cumulative measure, the amount of stablecoins sent by this group to Binance rose from $21.7 billion to $30.5 billion over a little more than a month, an increase of more than 40%.

Darkfost links exchange inflows to possible market entry

According to Darkfost, stablecoin inflows to exchanges usually indicate that capital is preparing to enter the market, so the shift could correspond to potential buying pressure.

Still below the level seen in October last year

He also said current whale positioning remains relatively cautious compared with last October, when the inflow figure at one point exceeded $61 billion.
