Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg has filed a Form 144 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 2,611 shares of the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF, trading under the ticker GXRP. Based on the disclosed filing price, the planned sale is worth about $53,400, or roughly $20.45 per share. The filing makes Mintzberg the third Grayscale insider named in the report to seek a sale of GXRP shares. Earlier this year, founder Barry Silbert and chief legal officer Craig Salm filed similar applications in January. At that time, the indicated price was about $37 per share, putting Mintzberg’s proposed sale price roughly 45% lower than the level cited in those earlier filings. The report also said GXRP shares outstanding fell from 5.79 million to 2.84 million over the past six months, a decline of about 51%, indicating that redemptions have continued to outpace subscriptions. Across U.S. spot XRP ETFs, total net assets currently stand at about $971.6 million, with GXRP accounting for around 6% of that total.
