Merkle Capital has launched M-INJ, the first regulated fund in Asia based on Injective's native token INJ, under the supervision of Thailand's SEC. The fund allows both retail and institutional investors to gain INJ exposure without direct token custody or exchange accounts. INJ already trades as regulated derivatives in the US via CFTC-regulated Bitnomial, making it one of the rare digital assets with regulated market presence in both regions.

According to Techub News, Injective's native token INJ has entered the regulated investment space in Asia. Thailand-based Merkle Capital has launched M-INJ, the region's first regulated fund built around INJ, under direct supervision of the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This product marks a significant step toward regulatory compliance for INJ in the Asian market.

The M-INJ fund utilizes a regulated investment structure, enabling investors to hold INJ exposure without needing to manage private keys or maintain exchange accounts, thereby reducing common custody and trading risks. The fund is open to both retail and institutional investors, offering a safe and compliant channel for various types of capital to participate.

INJ's Established Footprint in US Regulated Derivatives

INJ has already been trading in the US regulated derivatives market. On April 15, 2026, the CFTC-regulated exchange Bitnomial listed INJ futures contracts. Bitnomial is now owned by Kraken's parent company, adding further regulatory credibility to INJ's trading environment in the United States.

Merkle Capital's License and Market Impact

Merkle Capital is the first company in Thailand to hold a digital asset fund management license. The launch of M-INJ marks the first time Thai investors can legally invest in INJ within the country's regulatory framework, expanding Injective's compliant market reach in Asia and offering a blueprint for other digital assets to enter traditional regulatory networks.

INJ now has trading products in regulated markets on both sides of the Pacific—a relatively rare achievement in the crypto space. The introduction of M-INJ reinforces INJ's cross-jurisdictional compliance credentials and highlights the project's deliberate strategy of engaging with regulators to foster institutional adoption.
