Victoria, Seychelles – MEXC released its June trading report, revealing that the second round of SPACEX (PRE) on its Launchpad drew over 36,000 participants and approximately $118 million USDT in subscriptions, marking the first time a single Launchpad round crossed the $100 million threshold.
SpaceX Products See Broad-Based Growth
SpaceX futures ended June as the platform's most heavily traded US equity contract, while tokenized SpaceX stock led all tokenized equities on the spot side. The first round in May delivered a return of up to 38%, and demand carried over into June, prompting MEXC to expand the offering. Beyond the Launchpad, the exchange provided multiple avenues for SpaceX exposure, including pre-IPO participation, futures trading, and tokenized stocks.
Tokenized Equities and Futures Expand
Compared to May, tokenized US stocks doubled their representation in the top ten most traded TradFi spot assets. Stock and index futures coverage grew roughly 48% month-over-month, bringing the entire TradFi futures suite to 237 pairs. Crude oil, AI chipmaker stocks, and the two major US index contracts ranked among the top ten futures by volume. Gold and silver continued to carry roughly 60% of TradFi futures volume; on the spot side, euro and gold pairs together accounted for about 40% of turnover. Users hedged macro risks and chased equity narratives from the same account, with the equity boom not detracting from metals trading.
“Users now expect one account that covers everything they want to trade, whether it is a token listed yesterday or a company that has not gone public yet,” said Vugar Usi, CEO of MEXC. “June showed the size of that demand, and we intend to keep the Pre-IPO and tokenized stock pipeline open to meet it.”
New Listings: AI, DeFi, and Meme Dominate
The top ten strongest new listings in June averaged a peak gain of +3,715%, with the top three all exceeding +5,000%. The AI Agent theme evolved from discussion to products that settle trades on-chain and execute orders for retail users. BSC produced the three biggest gainers, while Solana placed six winners on the list, spanning Meme and GameFi categories. AI and DeFi infrastructure tokens absorbed most of the volume among the month's top ten new listings by trading activity, averaging a peak gain of approximately +2,552%. Meme tokens held three spots and generated buzz; one real-world-asset token also made the cut.
User Incentives and Growth Tools
MEXC's Launchpool offered new users an APR of up to 490%, while a separate trading pool eliminated the need to stake. Airdrop+ expanded its prize pool from over 500K to over 700K USDT, logging 200,000 participants. The Spin & Win campaign directed newcomers to the month's listings through tasks and a prize wheel.
