MEXC, the global crypto exchange known for zero-fee trading, released its February 2026 performance highlights. The top 10 newly listed tokens by spot trading volume posted an average peak gain of 1,367%. AI and infrastructure projects dominated: POWERAI popped 1,778%, PSAI 1,695%, TONIXAI 1,616%, and ESP 1,025%. Privacy computing tokens ZAMA and AZTEC, along with DeFi protocol ECHELON (+930%), rounded out the list, reflecting a strong tilt toward technical and infrastructure assets.
Highest-Gain List: MEME Token PUNCH Surges 4,980%
Beyond volume leaders, the pure gain list showed real breadth. MEME coin PUNCH surged 4,980% to become February’s top performer. CreatorFi token CRTR climbed 940%, DeFi tokens ECHELON and UP rose 930% and 900% respectively, DePIN+robotics concept ROBO gained 869%, and privacy computing token AZTEC added 700%. Traders with diverse exposure found February’s new listings among the hottest on market. Ethereum-based projects accounted for the largest share, followed by BSC’s AI-related tokens. BASE, Aptos, and SOL also contributed standout performers.
Launchpad Loss Protection Debuts: 21,000 Participants
February marked the first full month of MEXC’s Loss Protection mechanism on Launchpad. It offers a refund guarantee: if a newly listed token falls below its listing price, the exchange automatically reimburses the difference, shifting downside risk from user to platform. The month saw over 21,000 participants with total subscriptions exceeding 3.13 million USDT. MEXC’s broader rewards ecosystem also expanded — Airdrop+ events reached 11,700 participants with a combined prize pool above 1 million USDT, while a Spin & Win event for HYPE distributed an extra 200,000 USDT.
With AI-related assets and real-world infrastructure projects driving market activity, MEXC says it will continue expanding its listing coverage and strengthening the structural protections that define its user-first model.
