MEXC has announced what it calls the largest zero-fee trading event in its history, scheduled to run from April 16 to May 13, 2026 (UTC). The campaign coincides with the exchange’s eighth anniversary and applies to both spot and futures trading. According to the company, the goal is to cut fee friction and allow users to keep more of their trading returns.
Hundreds of pairs included across spot and futures
The exchange said the spot side of the campaign covers hundreds of trading pairs, including major assets such as BTC and ETH. On the futures side, the range is broader, extending from popular crypto tokens such as SOL and XRP to traditional commodities including GOLD, SILVER, and OIL, as well as tokenized U.S. equities such as NVDA, GOOGL, and TSLA. MEXC said the full list of eligible markets is available on the event page.
Company says zero-fee trading is part of a long-term model
MEXC described the zero-fee structure as an ongoing operating model rather than a one-off promotion. The company said it returned more than $1 billion in value to its global user base over the past year through this approach. It also stated that the program carries no volume cap, a structure the exchange says helps remove fee barriers and improve the execution efficiency of trading strategies.
Brand repositioning centers on broader market access
Following a broader brand update, MEXC said it is positioning itself as a gateway that connects users to global markets through one account and one access point. The company said its strategy continues to focus on “0 Fees” and “Infinite Opportunities,” with attention on wider asset coverage, product experience, and user campaigns.
Scale of the platform and risk note
In its company description, MEXC said it serves more than 40 million users across 170+ markets and offers access to over 3,000 digital assets. It also said users can trade tokenized assets tied to stocks, ETFs, commodities, and precious metals on the same platform.
The source material also carried a risk disclaimer stating that the content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. It noted that the crypto market is highly volatile and said users should assess market moves, project fundamentals, and financial risks before making trading decisions.
