Moca Network, an Animoca Brands project, has launched the beta version of MocaProof, a digital identity verification and rewards platform built to let users prove ownership, participation, and qualifications without exposing raw data or personally identifiable information. The product is designed for use across both onchain and offchain ecosystems.
The platform is connected to Moca Network’s AIR Kit and Moca Chain. That setup supports zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized data storage, onchain monetization, and single sign-on, with the aim of making identity data reusable, verifiable, and interoperable across the network. The pitch is straightforward: credentials can be checked without handing over the underlying private data.
Credential marketplace spans influence, finance, loyalty, and activity
MocaProof includes a credential proof marketplace where users can discover and verify credentials across categories such as influence, finance, loyalty, and activity. According to the announcement, all credentials in the marketplace are issued by verified partners and validated through zkProofs, a structure meant to preserve both data integrity and interoperability.
In the project statement, Moca Network said MocaProof lays the groundwork for verifiable digital identity with privacy protections, allowing users and enterprises to join credential-based ecosystems without giving up data ownership or compliance standards. The platform also ties identity formation to reputation building, then uses verified credentials as the basis for composable reward distribution.
Mocat visualizes verified credentials and unlocks rarity-based rewards
MocaProof also introduces Mocat, a virtual companion inside the Mocaverse that serves as a visual representation of a user’s verified credentials. As more credentials are verified, Mocat evolves with different traits that reflect the growth and rarity of that verified data set. Reward unlocks are linked to those rarity levels.
Rewards are a central part of the rollout. Moca Network said it plans to add an incentive framework under which users who verify credentials through MocaProof will be able to claim rewards from the official launch onward. Those rewards are set to include MOCA Coin (MOCA), token airdrops supplied by partner projects, and AIR SP, described as stablecoin-backed loyalty points that can be spent in AIR Shop.
Beta is live on Moca Chain testnet, with mainnet transition scheduled later in 2026
The beta is currently available on the Moca Chain Testnet, and the project said it is scheduled to move to mainnet later in 2026. To mark the release, Moca Network is running a month-long campaign built around NFT-related credentials and an NFT competition, with a reward pool valued at US$50,000.
Moca Network says it is building a chain-agnostic decentralized identity network focused on privacy-preserving verification and interoperability for users and data across industries and ecosystems. The project states that it brings together more than 600 Animoca Brands portfolio companies, over 700 million addressable users, and a range of enterprise partners. MOCA Coin serves as the network’s utility and governance token.
