The Ethereum Foundation said pcaversaccio, also known as pc, has joined its board of directors. The appointment is structured as a one-year volunteer term, according to the foundation’s post. pc is described as a longtime contributor to the Ethereum ecosystem, co-founder and lead of SEAL 911, and a former member of the EF Silviculture Society, an informal advisory group that supports the foundation around core values including censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security.
The foundation also highlighted pc’s published work, including the “Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto” in 2024, adapted from Eric Hughes’ “A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto,” and “Ethereum Privacy: The Road to Self-Sovereignty” in 2025. EF said pc has helped advance security practices across the ecosystem through both technical contributions and community advocacy.
With the addition, the current board members are Aya Miyaguchi as chair, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Swiss legal counsel Patrick Storchenegger, and pcaversaccio. Under the “EF Delegation Charter” released earlier this year, the board is responsible for setting vision, overseeing whether senior management strategy and decisions align with the foundation’s values, serving as a security council to protect EF’s core purpose, and ensuring compliance as a Swiss foundation.
