Squads, a Solana ecosystem project, secured $18M in funding. Its product Altitude has processed over $200M in transactions. SOL trades near $83 with analysts eyeing $82–$85 support.

Squads, a Solana-backed project, has raised $18 million in a new funding round, though the news has done little to stir SOL's price, which continues to trade around $83. Market attention remains fixed on technical support and resistance levels.

The company's flagship product, Altitude, is a stablecoin-powered financial operating system designed as an alternative to traditional banking for businesses. The platform enables corporate clients to hold assets in stablecoins and connect with multiple payment providers across over 150 countries. Altitude supports transfers via Bridge, MoonPay, Infinite, and Due, using channels such as ACH, SEPA, wire transfer, SWIFT, and stablecoin payments. A single identity verification on Altitude grants access to all payment channels, eliminating repetitive onboarding.

Altitude's Compliance and Security Features

The system automates compliance checks including sanctions screening, anti-financial crime monitoring, transaction surveillance, and institutional client verification. Since its launch in Q4 2025, Altitude has processed over $200 million in payment transactions and serves businesses in more than 50 countries.

Security is built on Solana's blockchain: each Altitude account is a programmable smart account. The company claims Altitude now secures over $10 billion in digital assets. Account protection includes a recovery passkey and two separate email-based keys from Privy and Turnkey. For high-value transactions, hardware devices like Ledger or YubiKey can be used with administrator approval. Every transaction is traceable on the public blockchain, offering greater transparency than conventional banks.

SOL Price Stays Flat; Key Levels in Focus

Despite the funding announcement, SOL remains subdued. Latest data shows $83.15, with 24-hour volume of just $2.9 million. The price dipped 0.29% in the past day and is down 6.36% over the week. Market cap stands at $47.9 billion with 580 million SOL in circulation.

Analyst CRYPTOKRALI notes that SOL is still moving within a tight corridor around $84. The critical support range is $82–$85; a break below could send SOL to $78–$80. Conversely, a clear upside move is only expected if SOL surpasses $90.
