According to Odaily, SpaceX plans to raise $75 billion in its IPO. Under the reported arrangement, 30% of the offering will be made available to individual investors, making retail and personal subscriptions a defined part of the fundraising structure.
Japanese Investor Allocation
Based on the $75 billion fundraising target, Japanese investors are expected to contribute about 3% of the total amount raised. This figure refers to the estimated share of the overall fundraising target attributable to investors from Japan, rather than the entire individual-investor allocation.
Regulatory rules also shape the distribution of the offering. Japanese domestic stock fund managers are not allowed to invest in overseas stocks under the relevant restrictions cited in the report. As a result, most of the individual subscription quota is expected to be allocated to retail investors. The arrangement shows how the personal-investor portion of the IPO is affected by local investment rules in different markets.
