Blockchain monitoring firm Specter reported that the whale wallet TLBL is suspected of a private key leak, leading to the loss of approximately $25.6 million in assets. The attacker swapped all stolen tokens — WBTC, cbBTC, LDO, USDS and CRV — into DAI and ETH. This is not the first time the wallet has been compromised. In September 2023, TLBL suffered $24.23 million in losses due to a malicious token approval, although the attacker eventually returned roughly 90% of the stolen funds.
