A crypto trader gave ClawdBot access to a $100 Polymarket account and let it trade 15-minute Bitcoin prediction markets. By the next day, the balance had risen to $347.

A crypto trader says ClawdBot turned a $100 Polymarket account into $347 overnight after being given API access to trade Bitcoin prediction markets on its own. The reported gain was $247, and the bot was assigned to trade the platform’s 15-minute Bitcoin up-or-down market. The test was described by trader @xmayeth and later compiled and translated by BlockBeats.

Local setup took about 30 minutes

According to the account, the idea came after the trader saw ClawdBot circulating widely on X. He then went through setup guides and got the bot running locally on his computer in roughly 30 minutes. After that, he opened a Polymarket account, deposited $100, and handed over the API key so the bot could place trades directly.

The instructions were specific: manage a $100 wallet on Polymarket, trade the 15-minute Bitcoin market over the next 24 hours, aim to maximize profit, stay conservative, and protect principal as much as possible. Once the prompts were entered, the trader shut his laptop and went to sleep. He wrote that it was already close to morning and he was not expecting a major outcome.

Price action, X sentiment, and basic technical tools

When he checked the account later, the balance had climbed to $347. He then reviewed what ClawdBot had done during the night. In his description, the bot pulled data from more than 50 recent 15-minute Bitcoin price charts and identified momentum patterns. It also scanned live sentiment on X and news flows, then combined that input with basic technical signals such as RSI and short-term moving averages derived from the data.

The trading activity was concentrated in more volatile hours tied to Asian and European market sessions. The trader said ClawdBot placed a series of bets it considered high-probability and used small gains to scale into larger position sizes. He also said each trade came with a written rationale and record, and that the bot reviewed its own performance afterward to note what had worked.

Strong returns, but security concerns remain

Based on the published numbers, the bot grew the starting capital to about 3.47 times its original size in a single night. The source article framed the result as part of a broader discussion around AI agents moving beyond advice and into direct execution, risk controls, and post-trade review.

At the same time, related coverage cited in the same source warned that poor ClawdBot configuration may create serious security risks, including cases where users’ crypto wallets were drained. For any automated system that requires API credentials or wallet-level permissions, account security remains a central issue alongside trading performance.
