Changzhou plans city-level clean-power AI token factory

The Changzhou municipal government said it is planning a city-level clean-power AI token factory, with projected annual output of 60 trillion tokens. According to the project description, output under the same computing power could rise by 62.5%. The facility is set to connect directly to renewable energy power plants and will rely on a national policy that allows green electricity to bypass the public grid. An agreement for the project was signed on Saturday, with seven parties involved, including Alibaba Cloud and Wangsu Science & Technology.
