Crypto Traders Are Watching Stocks and Gold Too, and Trading Platforms Are Expanding With Them
Crypto traders are no longer keeping their screens limited to BTC, ETH, SOL, and a handful of tokens. As described in a MarsBit market analysis, names such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Tesla, Micron, and SanDisk now sit alongside gold, silver, and even foreign exchange products in the same trading view. The shift does not mean these users have abandoned crypto for traditional finance. The article argues that traders are reacting to the same set of macro variables across markets, including Federal Reserve rate expectations, dollar liquidity, AI-related capital spending, and changes in risk appetite.
That cross-market mindset is also changing what traders expect from platforms. Rather than opening separate accounts and moving into a different capital system, users accustomed to USDT, perpetual futures, and around-the-clock trading want broader access inside one environment. MarsBit uses WEEX as an example, noting that its TradFi offering covers stocks, gold, silver, crude oil, commodities, and global equity indexes, uses USDT as margin, and does not require a separate TradFi account. The piece frames this as less about replacing traditional finance and more about how crypto-native platforms are becoming a single interface for traders who no longer think in only one asset class.
