CoinGecko has migrated the cybersecurity component of its centralized exchange Trust Score from CER.live to Hacken's CORE3 platform, covering 166 exchanges. CORE3 data shows roughly 48% of 193 assessed exchanges provided no evidence of reserve proofs, penetration tests, or bug bounty programs, while only about 5.2% met all three. Core DAO has initiated an emergency hard fork after some validators received CORE rewards exceeding the protocol's intended issuance. The incident is under control, and the malicious validators can no longer claim excess rewards. Multiple exchanges, including Coinbase, Bithumb, Coinone, Bitget, and LBank, have suspended CORE deposits and withdrawals. Core has not disclosed the total amount or duration of the excess rewards. As reported by Techub News, Shyft Finance is preparing to launch its first two Ethereum yield vaults, shCORE and shYIELD, together with GAP3 Partners FZCO, a Dubai-licensed virtual asset service provider. GAP3 will act as co-curator, contributing strategy research and analysis for the vaults. The vault contracts have been deployed on Ethereum mainnet and are set to enter a pre-deposit phase shortly. shYIELD is designed to combine Radiant Prime's market-neutral trading, Maple's syrupUSDC on-chain credit, and Gauntlet USD Alpha's stablecoin strategy, focusing on market-neutral and credit strategies. shCORE integrates Radiant Prime, Ondo USDY tokenized Treasury yields, and Sky's sUSDS savings yield, providing exposure to tokenized Treasuries and savings products. Both vaults follow the ERC-4626 standard and leverage Ember infrastructure for permission and security controls.
