Robinhood Chain leads NFT volume as ENS Foundation formalizes operations

A busy week across crypto projects brought updates in protocol design, governance, lending products, wallet security and payment infrastructure. Robinhood Chain posted $3.13 million in daily NFT volume, overtaking Ethereum, while its average daily transactions hit 11.6 million and TVL rose to $473 million. ENS token holders passed and executed the “Next Era of ENS DAO” proposal, turning ENS Foundation into a formal operating body with a full-time executive director, staff and a five-member board. On Solana, Jupiter rolled out Lend v2, a lending upgrade that lets deposited and borrowed assets also serve as trading liquidity. Other notable developments included Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake saying Ethereum L1 will stop pursuing Poseidon and instead move toward SHA or BLAKE-based hashing options; Hyperliquid outlining a plan to route idle HLP USDC into its native lending pool; Uniswap redirecting creator fees tied to a test token into an automatic buyback-and-burn contract; UniSat raising the default seed phrase length for new wallets from 12 words to 24; a USENIX study finding security-rule violations across 15 x402 payment providers; MegaETH’s native stablecoin USDm dropping to roughly $18 million in supply from a peak near $600 million in May; and World Liberty Financial delaying a yield-token launch tied to a Trump-branded Maldives resort project.

WuBlockchain daily roundup: UniSat raises default mnemonic length as Riot lands Anthropic’s $9.1 billion deal

WuBlockchain’s daily crypto roundup featured four market items spanning wallet security settings, AI infrastructure, ETF mechanics and stablecoin supply trends. UniSat said in its August 2026 security update that browser extension wallet v1.7.19 now sets 24 words, instead of 12, as the default mnemonic length for newly created wallets, while existing 12-word wallets remain compliant with the BIP-39 standard and do not require urgent migration solely because of the default change. The company also said it had applied fixes or hardening measures after receiving several community security reports. In another development, Anthropic reached a long-term cloud computing agreement worth about $9.1 billion with bitcoin miner Riot Platforms. Riot will supply 191MW of data center capacity from its Rockdale campus in Texas under a 20-year contract to support compute demand for Claude. Separately, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said investors can now convert BTC in kind into BlackRock’s IBIT with the minimum size reduced from $25 million to $1 million. BlackRock digital assets head Robbie Mitchnick said the firm hopes to lower the threshold further. WuBlockchain also highlighted that USDT’s 60-day rolling supply change fell by about $4 billion, including an $870 million decline over the past 11 days.

Fractal to Burn 4.1M FB at First Halving; UniSat Plans $1M Purchase

Lorenzo, in a post on X, said Fractal will permanently burn a total of 4,101,541 FB when its first halving takes effect around September 9. That figure, which is over 4.1 million tokens, covers the remaining FIP-101 rewards, public testnet rewards that were not distributed, and the second-year ecosystem allocation. Fractal is scheduled to publish a draft FIP-102 proposal tomorrow. Under that proposal, 50% of the token issuance after halving would be reallocated to support native FB issuance on the Bitcoin mainnet. The block reward would then be cut to 6.25 FB, while total supply stays unchanged. FIP-103, a follow-up proposal, will define the exact distribution mechanism. Separately, UniSat said it plans to buy $200,000 of FB from the open market each month for five straight months after the halving. That would amount to $1 million in FB total, earmarked as a long-term strategic reserve and locked on-chain for at least five years.
