Fabrizio Romano said Bournemouth have changed their stance on Alex Scott after meetings with the player's agents and could be open to a January sale if certain conditions are met. Romano also said Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in Scott.
Bournemouth change stance
Romano said on his YouTube channel: "After a number of meetings, not just one, between Alex Scott’s agents and Bournemouth, the decision of the club is to change their stance in the January transfer window."
Romano said on his YouTube channel: "Then, Bournemouth wanted Alex Scott to sign a new contract, but there was no agreement. Now, Bournemouth are open to selling Alex Scott already in the January transfer window."
Conditions for a sale
Romano said on his YouTube channel: "Let me clarify that Bournemouth are not putting the player up for sale in the January window. It is that Bournemouth could be open to selling if the bid is a good bid, an important bid, and if the player wants to go. These have to be the conditions."
Chelsea and Liverpool interest
Romano said Chelsea tried twice to sign Alex Scott in the summer.
Romano said Liverpool called to understand Alex Scott's situation in the summer without submitting a bid.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: "Chelsea are still there. Chelsea like the player, Chelsea love the player. So, Chelsea are maintaining a genuine interest in Alex Scott. He is a player they are absolutely keeping on their shortlist."
Romano said Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Alex Scott.
Romano's further comment
Romano also said: "For sure Scott will leave Bournemouth in 2027, there are movements."
