Chris Wilder has confirmed that Femi Seriki is back available for Sheffield United ahead of the clash with Derby County. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since late August and is now in contention to feature.
Wilder confirms return
Wilder said Seriki's return gives Sheffield United a good option in that position. He said: "But we’ve integrated them now, so to get Femi back gives us a good option in that position."
Players missed by Sheffield United
Wilder said: "We’ve missed him and the likes of Harrison, Ryan and Chongy."
He also said: "We’ve seen their impact recently, the upturn in our performances and the contributions they’ve made off the bench."
Challenge after injury
Wilder said: "It is really difficult for them to go straight back in the team."
He added: "In the days of reserve games, you’d give them two or three of them, it is more complicated now."
