Tom Ritzy Hülsmann, now in goal for French second-division club Stade Reims, said he is not currently considering a possible return to Bayern Munich. Asked about a reported FCB buy-back clause in an interview with Transfermarkt, he declined to confirm it.
What Hülsmann said
Hülsmann said a future with Bayern Munich is not on his mind at the moment. Asked about the reported clause, he said: "I'm not even sure whether they really have a buy-back option . But no, that's not a goal of mine."
His Bayern path
Hülsmann joined Bayern Munich's youth set-up from Eintracht Trier in 2017, aged 13. He spent seven years in Munich. At the start of the 2023/24 season, he was named in the senior squad three times and made a total of 29 appearances for Bayern Munich's second team.
Moves after leaving Munich
In 2024, Hülsmann left Bayern Munich on loan for SKN St. Pölten. A year later, he moved to Austrian top-flight club TSV Hartberg.
His situation at Reims
Reims paid a €2.5 million transfer fee for Hülsmann in the summer. The 22-year-old is the club's first-choice goalkeeper, has made 9 Ligue 2 appearances so far, and is under contract until 2031.
