Philippe Clement said Kellen Fisher could return to the Norwich City squad for the Championship game against Portsmouth on Saturday after returning to training. Fisher has been dealing with a back problem after returning from international duty, and he took part in a light session on Friday.
Fisher back in training
Clement said: "Of course, it was a very, very soft session. It was light, but he felt better again."
Under-21s game for three players
Clement confirmed Ante Crnac, Mirko Topic and Bruno Alves will all play for the Under-21s as part of their efforts to regain match sharpness.
Clement said: "Ante will play this evening to get minutes, to get rhythm."
Clement said: "I think it’s important for him to get up to speed."
Clement said: "Mirko and Bruno will play the game this evening. It’s against a good opponent here in a home game, so I think a good situation for them to step up again."
Crnac working back
Crnac is still working his way back after a lengthy absence. Clement said: "It’s a difficult decision to make, because, okay, you have friendly games, but it’s a different rhythm of the game."
Clement said: "You have training sessions, but not too many. It’s never at the intensity of a Championship game and you need to bring them back."
Clement said: "He clearly needs also more rhythm, he needs more game time, but it’s a normal thing after being 10, 11 months out."
