Football Italia said Lorenzo Lucca could reportedly return to Udinese in January in a loan swap with Keinan Davis, while Peppe Iodice apologised over a video.

Football Italia reported that Tuttomercatoweb are suggesting Lorenzo Lucca will return to Udinese in an exchange of loans with English striker Keinan Davis in January. Lucca moved from Udinese to Napoli in the summer of 2025 in an operation that cost €35m.

Lucca's numbers

Lucca has managed two goals and one red card in 32 competitive appearances for Napoli. He also had a six-month loan spell at Nottingham Forest and scored once in nine matches.

Iodice removes video

Neapolitan comedian Peppe Iodice took down a video because he said he “felt bad” that it unleashed a wave of vicious comments against Lucca.

Iodice said: "For the first time, after publishing a video, I didn’t feel at peace with myself. I deleted it because I felt that it was fuelling online bullies, some of whom were attacking Lorenzo, and I realised that I was in some way joining in."

Iodice's further comments

Iodice said: "My objective was merely to make someone laugh, by telling some truths. Lorenzo is playing in truly surreal fashion, but I am not one to bully, nor to fire upon the Red Cross."

He added: "I wanted to be satirical, but satire is against the strong, and right now Lorenzo is in a fragile and negative state that I do not wish to make worse."

Iodice said: "If Lorenzo started scoring repeatedly, and I really wish from my heart he will, I will return to mocking him with everything I’ve got. Right now, I prefer not to fuel this hatred. Forza Napoli, always."
