If Sundowns reach the decider of South Africa’s League Cup, it will have to be moved because FIFA fixtures trump everything else.
How Sundowns qualified and who they could face
Sundowns are locked into the fixture after beating Al Ahli in the African-Asian-Pacific Cup. They do not yet know their opponents in the Challenger Cup round. Their opponent will be either Mexican side Toluca or an as-yet-unknown challenger from South America.
Final date in Qatar
The final is also to be played in Qatar on 16 December. Paris Saint-Germain are waiting in the final.
