Manchester United have launched a new supporter survey on the design of a proposed 100,000-capacity stadium, with responses open until Friday 6 November.

Manchester United have launched a new survey asking supporters for further feedback on the design of their proposed 100,000-capacity stadium. The club announced in March 2025 that it planned to replace Old Trafford with a £2billion venue.

What the survey will cover

The questionnaire will look at how to deliver a “world-class football stadium and match-day experience for all fans” while best reflecting the club's heritage and legacy. It will also examine atmosphere, transport options and the wider campus.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe stated the new venue would become the “world’s greatest” football ground.

Who will receive it

Supporters have until 12pm on Friday 6 November to submit their responses. The survey will be sent to season ticket holders, cup season ticket holders, official members and executive club members.

It will also be distributed to supporters on the season ticket waiting list and those who have purchased hospitality at Old Trafford over the past three years.

Roche on supporter input

Collette Roche said: “Our proposed new stadium is one of the most significant projects Manchester United will undertake in the next 100 years, and it is vital that we shape it together with our fans.”

She added: “Above all else, this is a football stadium built for them, so getting the details right matters.”

Roche said: “That’s why we are committed to thorough and transparent engagement, ensuring supporters help inform key decisions on atmosphere, affordability, accessibility and the traditions that have made Old Trafford so special for so long.”

Roche's new role

Collette Roche stepped down as United's chief operating officer to take up the role of chief executive of the new stadium development in January.

She said: “Our engagement with supporters since 2024 has shown there is genuine excitement about the prospect of a new stadium, but we also recognise that some fans will have important questions and concerns.”

Roche added: “Listening to those views and ensuring they are shaping the design is a vital part of the process.”
