Milan are set to be without Adrien Rabiot, Mario Gila and Diego Moreira for their Serie A trip to Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium on Sunday. Milan go into the game fourth on 15 points and still unbeaten in Serie A under Ruben Amorim.
Players missing for Udinese trip
According to Sky Sport Italia, none of Rabiot, Gila and Moreira have been included in Amorim’s squad for the game. Rabiot has fatigue in his right calf, Moreira has a similar problem in his left hamstring, and Gila is suffering from inflammation in his left ankle caused by overload.
Expected return to the XI
All three had been expected to return to the starting XI after Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League defeat at Bournemouth. At Bournemouth, Rabiot came on at half-time and Moreira started.
Other absences and one return
Samuel Chukwueze has been ruled out for at least two months with a hip problem. Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers are out long term. Gonçalo Ramos has recovered from a calf issue and returned to full training on Friday.
What comes next
Udinese have lost five games in a row. Milan host Bologna on Wednesday before the derby against Inter on 31 October. Rabiot, Gila and Moreira will be assessed ahead of those games.
