Fiorentina director Fabio Paratici said Dodo is training really well and remains part of the squad. Fiorentina are also prepared to part ways with the right-back in January or at the end of the season, with Juventus, Milan and Barcelona linked.
Paratici's comments on Dodo
When asked by DAZN about the right-back’s transfer situation, Paratici said via TMW: "It’s very clear, and it’s always been. At the end of the season, he’ll have a legitimate ambition to find another club."
Paratici also said via TMW: "We were available if a valuable offer had arrived in the summer, but we didn’t receive one, and it has created some issues with his approach to the new season. Now he trains really well; he’s a team member and will be considered as such until he’s here."
Fiorentina's position
Dodo rejected Fiorentina's contract extension offers in the summer. La Viola had hoped to extend Dodo's deal but failed to reach an agreement with the player in the summer.
Fiorentina are willing to listen to offers in January after not receiving a proposal in the summer, and he is destined to leave, either in January or at the end of the season.
Dodo's season so far
Dodo has made four appearances across all competitions this season and played 166 minutes.
Interest from other clubs
Sport reported earlier in October that Barcelona keep monitoring Dodo. According to Sport, Barcelona have continued to monitor Dodo's situation.
Juventus and Milan have also been linked with Dodo.
