1. FC Saarbrücken lost 3-2 away to TSV Havelse in the 3. Liga on Sunday. After the match, Saarbrücken attacking player Florian Pick accused the referee of possible match-fixing in comments to MagentaSport.
Pick's post-match comments
Speaking to MagentaSport, Pick said: "I need a moment to catch my breath after what the referee has done here. That cannot go without comment. I hope someone was watching to see whether this was already match-fixing."
He also said: "really be careful. Otherwise I’m going to lose my temper here."
Pick also criticised his own side, saying: "We played like shit here!"
Penalties and goals in the match
Referee Maximilian Lotz awarded Havelse a penalty in the 36th minute after a challenge between Saarbrücken's Kai Brünker and Havelse's Kwasi Wriedt in the penalty area. Johann Berger converted that penalty to make it 1-1.
Shortly after the restart, Lotz awarded Havelse another penalty. Berger scored again to put Havelse ahead. Eric Voufack made it 3-1 to Havelse in the 86th minute. Saarbrücken scored a consolation goal through Brünker in the first minute of stoppage time. Havelse were awarded a third penalty in the third minute of stoppage time, but Alexander Guiddir put it wide.
Berger responds after the final whistle
