SI reported that Ricardo Pepi is nearing recovery from a muscular injury ahead of the USMNT's November Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal tie against Haiti. The forward has been out since suffering the injury eight minutes into PSV Eindhoven's match against FC Twente on Sept. 20.

Pepi's recovery timeline

Pepi was unfit to report to the USMNT's September-October international camp and was replaced on the roster by Damion Downs. During his absence, he has missed the USMNT's four friendlies and four club matches.

Peter Bosz said Pepi could be available as soon as Sunday for the match with Feyenoord.

USMNT's November schedule

The USMNT's November international camp kicks off on Nov. 9 and concludes with the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal tie against Haiti. The first leg against Haiti is on Nov. 14 in Kingston, Jamaica, and the second leg is on Nov. 17 in Cincinnati.

Other forward injury updates

John Eustace said Patrick Agyemang is "on course" to return in November, but not until "after the international break." Eustace said: "It’s important we don’t rush him back. Just having him training with us at the moment is brilliant. He is with the rehab team, but he is hitting all the markers."

Frank Lampard said Haji Wright will not be back until November at best after suffering a "very serious" quad injury during preseason for Coventry City. Lampard said: "Haji won’t be back until November at best and I don’t want to put pressure on it because it’s an awkward injury"

Mauricio Pochettino said Folarin Balogun was dealing with "a small issue in one of his legs" after the tournament. Balogun has returned to the pitch for Monaco and has featured off the bench in the last three Ligue 1 matches.
