QPR lost 3-0 to Birmingham City, and Julien Stephan confirmed the club were assessing another knee injury suffered by Richard Kone after the defeat. Stephan said it was QPR's second defeat after 11 games of the season.
Kone injury being assessed
Kone had only recently returned to action after suffering a knee problem while playing for Rangers’ development side, but he was forced off again against Birmingham City.
Stephan told West London Sport: "He felt something with his knee, but I don’t know exactly."
Stephan on the result
Stephan said: "This is only the second defeat, and the second defeat after 11 games of the season with the situation we had to manage I think is not too bad."
Freshness issue raised
Stephan said: "But today it’s clear that they were more efficient, and probably they were more fresh – we had a lack of freshness."
Stephan said: "If we are more fresh, we will have more quality, because I know the players are able to connect together and do some good movement collectively."
