Swansea City said winger Ronald will be out for about six to eight weeks after suffering a hamstring injury following the defeat to West Ham United.
Ronald injury confirmed
Head coach Vitor Matos said: "Ahead of this game the only news is Ronald felt his hamstring after the West Ham game."
Matos said: "We assessed him and he’s out for about six to eight weeks."
Hayters reported that Ronald picked up the problem after being deployed at right-back against West Ham United.
Matos on squad options
Matos said: "That is the news at the moment. It’s not the most pleasant news but we will have to use the squad again."
Vitor Matos said Filip Lissah is available again after serving a one-match suspension.
Vitor Matos said Stephen Eustaquio returned from injury as a substitute against West Ham.
Josh Key recovery update
Josh Key returned to parts of team training after a hamstring problem.
Matos said: "Josh did the first part of the session with us, so he’s on the right side of the rehab but he still won’t be involved this weekend."
Vitor Matos said Saturday’s trip to Queens Park Rangers will come too soon for Josh Key.
