At the 2026 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, Nina Rong, Executive Director of Growth at BNB Chain, detailed the platform's strides in the Real World Asset (RWA) sector. As the second-largest RWA infrastructure after Ethereum, BNB Chain has achieved significant milestones.
RWA Ecosystem Scale and Partners
Rong disclosed that the total circulating RWA assets on BNB Chain have surpassed $3.8 billion, with 46,000 users holding various RWA assets. Key partners include asset management giants such as BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and Vanguard, strengthening the bridge between traditional finance and the crypto world.
RWA Appeal and 24/7 Trading
Rong highlighted the unique advantages of RWAs: 24/7 trading capabilities and overcoming geographic restrictions. This allows global investors to trade assets anytime, without being limited by traditional market hours. BNB Chain is leveraging these features to attract a growing number of institutional and retail users.
Stablecoins and Trading Advantage
In the stablecoin segment, BNB Chain also shines. Users hold $17.5 billion in stablecoins on the chain, and 34% of global stablecoin transactions occur on BNB Chain. This data reflects the platform's widespread adoption in payment and cross-border remittance scenarios.
Future Outlook
BNB Chain plans to further expand high-yield asset offerings and facilitate RWA trading. By strengthening partnerships with ecosystem players such as Trust Wallet and Ondo, the platform aims to lower the barrier for users to participate in RWAs and scale the on-chain representation of real-world assets. As a leading Web3 infrastructure, BNB Chain continues to drive the RWA track forward.
