Odos, a DeFi liquidity aggregation protocol, said via its official X account that its operating company is shutting down. The company laid out a shutdown schedule that starts on July 23, when new account registrations, new wallet creation, and new limit order functions were disabled, while existing users could still swap and close positions. From July 27 to July 30, the application will move into read-only mode, allowing users to view historical transaction records and balances. On July 30, all Odos services will be permanently closed. Odos said it is a non-custodial protocol, meaning user assets remain on-chain. Users who created wallets through social login or email login need to transfer assets or export private keys before July 30. The project also said the ODOS token will continue to exist independently on-chain, and the company’s closure will not affect its on-chain mechanics. Odos DAO plans will be announced separately.
