A crypto whale that previously exited a large Ether position at the end of last year has started buying Bitcoin again after roughly eight months of inactivity, according to monitoring data from EmberCN cited by BlockBeats. The wallet owner had sold 50,600 ETH at an average price of $2,921, locking in about $19.02 million in profit. Over the past 24 hours, the whale swapped 14.2 million USDC for 179.8 BTC through THORChain. The average purchase price was about $78,955 per Bitcoin. EmberCN’s tracking shows the address is still accumulating. The wallet still holds about 74.32 million USDC, indicating it retains substantial buying power if purchases continue.
