OKX says it is tracking funds tied to recent Binance security incident

OKX founder Star said the exchange has begun tracking stolen funds linked to Binance’s recent security incident, while identifying suspicious addresses and transactions and taking available steps to stop any laundering attempts through the OKX exchange or its Web3 DEX aggregator. He also said the team is assessing the incident’s potential market impact and may tighten risk controls if needed to prepare for liquidity shocks or cascading liquidations. In parallel, OKX is reviewing attack methods, software development supply chain risks, and risks related to AI coding agents, while also examining its internal controls, access management, wallet infrastructure, and broader security architecture. Star added that OKX was not breached in the incident, but said the company cannot promise absolute safety or immunity from attacks.

SpaceX turns to EchoStar talks after major U.S. carriers reject network access request

SpaceX is in talks with EchoStar after Elon Musk failed to secure network access from major U.S. telecom operators including Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T, according to The Washington Post. The discussions center on two possible routes: acquiring Boost Mobile or gaining access to its network, a move that could give SpaceX a path into the U.S. wireless market, which MoffettNathanson estimates at about $235 billion. The report says Musk met EchoStar chairman Charlie Ergen last month. Boost Mobile already has a brand and subscriber base, but its network relies on leased capacity from AT&T and T-Mobile, meaning any transfer or use arrangement would still typically require approval from those companies. Verizon and EchoStar declined to comment, while AT&T, T-Mobile, SpaceX and Musk did not respond to requests for comment. The talks come as SpaceX pushes deeper into mobile connectivity. Earlier this month, the company agreed to spend about $8 billion on wireless spectrum licenses suited for areas where satellite coverage falls short. Musk called that purchase the final spectrum piece needed for full phone coverage across the United States. SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen has also said the company aims to become a major mobile carrier in the country.

BEP-706 added to BSC Jenner hard fork, giving contracts millisecond block timestamps

BNB Chain said proposal BEP-706 has been included in the Jenner hard fork, adding a precompiled contract at address 0x70 that lets smart contracts read the current block timestamp with millisecond precision. Before this change, contracts could only access second-level time through block.timestamp, which made it impossible to tell apart blocks produced within the same second. Under BEP-706, developers can retrieve the number of milliseconds since the Unix epoch. BNB Chain said the feature can improve precision for time-limited signed quotes, auction deadlines, and timeliness checks for price oracle updates. The change is described as an incremental upgrade and does not alter the existing second-based return behavior of block.timestamp.

Anthropic posts third-quarter operating loss as compute costs rise ahead of IPO

Anthropic, the developer of Claude, generated $17 billion in quarterly revenue in the third quarter, but rising computing expenses pushed the company to a $567 million operating loss. According to CoinDesk, the loss came as Anthropic heads toward an initial public offering, putting a spotlight on the gap between top-line revenue and the cost of running large-scale AI systems. The report centers on two figures: strong quarterly revenue and a sizable operating loss tied to higher compute costs. It does not provide additional financial detail beyond those headline numbers, but it frames the result as a shift into operating loss before the company’s planned IPO.

Polymarket odds of WTI falling to $95 in November rise to 88%

PPP’s prediction-market tracker shows that on Polymarket, the probability of WTI crude falling to $95 per barrel in November climbed to 88%, up 26% over the past 24 hours. Odaily, citing Iran’s state news agency IRNA, said Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the Supreme Leader had granted the government partial authority in negotiations. After the remarks, international oil prices fell sharply while gold and silver moved higher. The market interpreted the development as a sign that Iran’s negotiating stance could be becoming more flexible and that the government’s ability to reach an agreement with the United States may have improved. The report also noted that Iran’s strategic decisions remain in the hands of the Supreme Leader, meaning any progress in talks would still require alignment between the Supreme Leader and the negotiating team. Earlier, Iran had proposed a two-day framework plan that would conditionally reopen the Strait of Hormuz if its demands were met, including lifting the blockade, releasing frozen funds, and easing sanctions.

Bitwise, Triton One and SOL Strategies join Jito BAM as first third-party node operators

Jito said Bitwise, Triton One and SOL Strategies will become the first third-party operators for BAM nodes, with deployment set to begin on the BAM testnet. Until now, every BAM node on both testnet and mainnet had been run by Jito itself. The company outlined a three-step rollout: testnet deployment inside confidential virtual machines on bare-metal hardware; an early mainnet phase in which migrated nodes will serve only the operators’ own BAM validators, targeted before the end of 2026; and a full mainnet phase open to any validator, targeted for early Q1 2027. Jito said that final stage depends on two features still under development: Attestations, and a Verifier plus Autobahn system designed to check whether block producers follow the transaction order assigned by BAM nodes and automatically ban ordering violations. Jito also said the first batch of operators did not receive additional economic incentives, and that it will later publish both the onboarding process for new operators and the economic model for sustaining node operations.
