BBX data showed a fresh round of crypto treasury moves by publicly listed companies over the weekend, with three disclosures standing out across Bitcoin, Ether, and HYPE. Trump Media (NASDAQ: DJT) transferred 2,628 BTC worth about $165 million to Crypto.com on Saturday, Aug. 1, a move the market expects could precede further sales. The company bought 11,542 BTC last year at an average price of $118,529 and has already sold 7,281 BTC this year at an average of roughly $74,860, booking a realized loss of $318 million. It still holds 4,261 BTC with an unrealized loss of $237 million, bringing combined realized and unrealized losses to $555 million.
In Japan, Tokyo-listed Quantum Solutions (TYO: 2338) sold 1,000 ETH on July 30 at $1,903 each, raising about $1.9 million to support its AI data center business. The company expects to recognize a loss of about $100,000. After also selling 904 ETH in June, its holdings have fallen 29% to 4,764.8 ETH. Separately, Eole said it bought 1,078.25 HYPE on July 28 at an average of $57.15 and plans to raise total HYPE investment to $611,100 by the end of August under its “Neo Crypto Bank” strategy.
