Machi Big Brother nears exit on 40x BTC long with an estimated $1.308 million loss
Machi Big Brother, identified by BlockBeats as Jeffrey Huang, is close to closing out his 40x leveraged Bitcoin long, according to Tradingbeats data cited on Sept. 8. The position has been cut to 23 BTC. Earlier in the trade, on Sept. 4, the unrealized profit briefly reached $1.6985 million, when the position size stood at about 553 BTC, the average entry price was around $79,196.5, and Bitcoin’s hourly high was roughly $82,268. The trade has since reversed sharply.
Current figures show the BTC long down about $1.0371 million, with roughly $167,800 paid in trading fees and another $79,900 in funding costs. If the remaining position is fully closed at current levels, the whole trade is expected to end with a loss of about $1.308 million.
At the same time, Huang has continued adding to a HYPE long. That position has grown to 212,000 tokens, up by about 96,500 over the past day. At current prices, the added size represents roughly $8.1 million in notional value. The address now holds a HYPE long worth about $17.77 million in notional terms, uses 10x leverage, has an average entry near $87.37, and is sitting on an unrealized loss of about $749,800. Recent additions were mainly made around $86.5 and in the $83.4 to $83.9 range.
